This 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R is one of 1,306 V-Spec II examples produced, which were initially introduced to celebrate Nissan’s success in FIA Group A and Group N racing. Finished in black over two-tone gray, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.6L RB26DETT inline-six that has been fitted with an HKS intercooler, HKS turbochargers, and HKS exhaust. Equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, Super HICAS rear-wheel steering, HKS coilovers, 17″ BBS wheels, Brembo brakes, a 320-km/h NISMO speedometer, a boost controller, a CD player, and air conditioning. The selling dealer imported the car to the United States in July 2020 and has since changed the oil and replaced the spark plugs.
The GT-R version of the R32 features widened front and rear fenders as well as a front lip, side skirts, and rear wing from the factory. This example is one of 104 V-Spec II models finished in Black Pearl Metallic (732), and decals have been applied to the rear quarter windows.
Silver-finished 17″ wheels show BBS and Nissan castings surrounding the Skyline S–emblem center caps, and they are mounted with 225/50 Bridgestone Potenza tires. The electronically controlled Super HICAS rear-steering system remains installed, and the V-Spec II model also received multi-piston Brembo calipers as standard. HKS coilovers are said to have been installed.
The interior features bucket seats with two-tone gray cloth upholstery, while textured Skyline-branded mats cover the front and rear footwells. The car is equipped with a Carrozzeria CD player as well as air conditioning.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames white instrumentation that includes a NISMO-branded 320-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. An aftermarket gauge pod is installed in the center stack, a Greddy boost gauge is attached to the A-pillar, and a GFB G-Force III boost controller has been added to the left of the steering wheel. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 58k kilometers (~36k miles).
The twin-turbocharged 2.6L RB26DETT inline-six is said to have been fitted with HKS components including turbochargers, intercooler, piping, downpipe, and exhaust. An aluminum radiator and a teal-accented strut bar also have been installed. In early 2021 the oil was changed and the spark plugs were replaced.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system. The V-Spec II received an active limited-slip rear differential with a finned cover, which has been replaced with a standard cover.
