This 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe is finished in Guards Red over black leather and powered by a 3.6-liter flat six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 17” Fikse wheels, H&R lowering springs, aftermarket sway bars, an RS-specification flywheel, an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, and a Kenwood CD stereo. The car was reportedly sold new by Jackie Cooper Porsche in Tulsa, Oklahoma and purchased by the seller’s father in the 1990s. It is said to have been acquired by the seller in 1998, sold on in 2001, and re-acquired by the seller in October 2020.
The car is finished in Guards Red and features fog lights, tinted windows, an electric sunroof, a satellite radio antenna, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. Noted flaws include chips in the windshield, a broken driver’s door stay, and a rust spot beneath the windshield on the left side. There are paint chips on the front bumper cover and hood, and the paint on the rear bumper cover is faded. The Carfax report lists damage to the right rear as a result of an accident in November 1990.
Machine-finished 17” Fikse wheels wear 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Yokohama AdvanSport A/S tires showing 2019 date codes. The suspension is said to have been fitted with H&R lowering springs and aftermarket sway bars. Braking is provided by cross-drilled rotors with red-finished calipers at each corner.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include power height adjustments for the front seats, power windows and locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an aftermarket Kenwood CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer. and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 113k miles.
The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque when new. The starter was replaced in October 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle that has reportedly been fitted with an RS-specification flywheel.
