The truck was refinished in white during the refurbishment work and features Defender and Tdi 2.8 badging. Additional equipment includes black wheel arch flares, a swing-away rear tire carrier, alpine windows, black handles and hinges, a black tubular NAS-style rear bumper, and a black front bumper with integrated LED fog lights.
Later black 18″ Land Rover Sawtooth style wheels are mounted with 275/70 Cooper Discoverer R/T3 tires. The seller reports that the frame and front inner fenders were galvanized, and replacement suspension bushings, brake shoes, pads, and drilled and slotted front rotors were installed under current ownership.
The cabin features front bucket seats reupholstered in black leather with diamond-stitching that extends to the matching door panels, dashboard, second-row seats, and folding jump seats in the rear cargo area. Equipment includes heated front seats with added lumbar support, a replacement headliner, added sound insulation, and Exmoor carpets.
The three-spoke Mountney steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges that have been fitted with LED lighting. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 27k kilometers (~17k miles).
The International 2.8-liter turbodiesel inline-four was reportedly installed by Sports Car Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, under current ownership. Silicone cooling and turbocharger couplings have been fitted, and recent maintenance included an oil change and fluid services.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
