This Triumph TR6 was manufactured in July of 1976 and is finished in Java Green over black vinyl upholstery. Power comes from a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a black soft top, twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a front air dam, chrome bumpers with overriders, a Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a Retrosound multimedia stereo system.
The car was finished from the factory in Java Green (85) and features a black soft top, a chrome bullet-style mirror, a front air dam, a luggage rack, bumper overriders, Union Jack flags on the rear quarter panels, and aftermarket H4 headlights.
Factory 15″ steel wheels with aluminum trim rings and TR6 center caps wear 215/60 Falken tires showing 2008 date codes. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. A front suspension kit and upper ball joints were installed in 2015 under prior ownership, and the front suspension bushings are said to have been replaced in 2020.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with perforated inserts and are aLompanied by matching door panels, carpets, and a rear package shelf. Amenities include a wood-veneer dashboard with a locking glovebox, a heater, Triumph-branded floor mats, and a Retrosound multimedia stereo with a Kenwood amp and rear speaker enclosure. A replacement seat kit, seat foam, and one seat frame were installed in 2015 by British Auto Specialists of Calgary, Alberta.
A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, and the removed factory steering wheel is included in the sale. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.
The 2.5-liter inline-six was factory rated at 101 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and a spin-on oil filter adapter. Service reportedly performed in 2020 included replacement of the battery and alternator along with an oil change.
The engine is stamped with CF47945UE, which corresponds to the engine number recorded in the car’s 1977-dated factory service logbook.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
