Steel 14″ wheels wear VW-branded hubcaps and are wrapped in 195/75 Sentury Touring tires with removable Atlas white walls. Replacement brake shoes and drums were reportedly installed in 2019, as were running boards sourced from The Thing Shop.
The cabin features low-backed bucket seats that have been fitted with replacement memory-foam padding and two-tone tan vinyl upholstery. Wood duckboard flooring lines the footwells, and a padded show cage has been installed. Additional amenities include lap belts, sun visors, an aftermarket RetroSound stereo system with Bluetooth, and a Bazooka bass tube. An extra set of duckboard floors is included in the sale, aLording to the seller.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer with an integrated fuel-level gauge, and a lockable glove compartment and custom bamboo under-tray have been added to the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four was reportedly rebuilt under previous ownership and features a single downdraft carburetor. The seller states that an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
