This 1974 Datsun 260Z was acquired by the seller in 1999 and has subsequently been refurbished and modified. 16″ Panasport wheels are wrapped in 225/60 Riken Raptor ZR tires showing 2005 date codes. The suspension has been modified with aftermarket coilovers, camber plates, sway bars, and polyurethane bushings. The four-wheel disc brakes are equipped with Toyota rotors up front and 280ZX rotors at the back. An adjustable proportioning valve is located in the cabin.
The cabin is equipped with black cloth Recaro seats, Simpson racing harnesses, a cassette player, and a bolt-in roll cage with a removable roll hoop and door bars.
A leather-wrapped Grant steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and an aftermarket 8k-rpm tachometer. An analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The tachometer only works intermittently, and the fuel-level gauge is inaLurate. An uninstalled fuel-level sending unit is included with the sale. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The replacement inline-six was reportedly rebuilt to 3.1-liters by Rebello Racing, and modifications are said to include a Nissan Maxima crankshaft, Mikuni carburetors, a Nismo header, MSD ignition, an aftermarket aluminum radiator, and a custom exhaust system.
The drivetrain is said to consist of a five-speed manual transmission from a 280Z and a Datsun pickup rear differential with 4.11:1 gearing.
