The body is finished in Primrose Yellow and was reportedly repainted in the 1980s. The seller notes that the MGC GT-specific hood has since been refinished again but appears a different shade than the surrounding panels. Exterior features include a chrome fuel cap and bumpers, anodized window trim, side moldings, and a fender-mounted passenger side mirror. The headlamp assemblies and bulbs were replaced in 2020.
The 15″ knock-off wire wheels feature chrome wheel nuts and are mounted with 165/80 Continental Contact tires that were installed in 2020. The front brake servo has been replaced and additional brake work completed in 2020 included replacement lines and a fluid change.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in black leather, and the cabin features a matching foldable rear bench seat, dashboard, wool carpeting, and door panels. The floors are lined with rubber floor mats, and wear and separation are evident on the driver’s seat.
A banjo-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a Smiths tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline while the 140-mph speedometer is inoperable. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles.
The 2.9-liter inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. A replacement fuel tank was fitted by the previous owner, and service performed during current ownership included a tune-up, rebuilt SU carburetors, fluid changes, and a replacement exhaust system, axle strap, and axle seal.
