This 1969 Ford Bronco was acquired by the seller in fall 2019 and was subsequently refurbished with a repaint in blue and a refresh of the black vinyl interior along with modifications that include power brakes, power steering, and tilt steering. Power is provided by a replacement 302ci V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and additional equipment includes a roll bar and dual fuel tanks. An Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor was fitted in preparation for the sale.
The truck was refinished in Brittany Blue in January 2020 and features a four-point roll bar, chrome exhaust outlets at the rear corners, and flares installed on cut fenders all around. The outer door handles, headlight bezels, side mirrors, bumpers, and signal lenses have been replaced. A refinished white hardtop and a black bikini soft top are included in the sale.
Mickey Thompson 16″ Classic wheels feature manually-locking hubs up front and wear LT285/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires showing 2014 date codes. The truck rides on 1.5″ of suspension lift, and power steering and power brakes were added in January 2020.
The interior features front bucket and rear bench seats reupholstered in black vinyl with a matching dash pad. The interior floorboards are protected by a black spray-on liner. A locking center console and front-seat lap belts have been added, the window cranks and the shifter boot were replaced, and a turn-indicator wiring kit has been fitted.
The three-spoke black steering wheel sits atop a tilting column and fronts a body-colored dashboard housing a 100-mph speedometer with inset secondary gauges. A Duffy’s shifter was utilized in relocating the factory column-mounted shift function to the floor. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles.
The replacement 302ci V8 is said to have been overhauled by Wholesale Automotive Machine of San Diego, California, and was fitted under previous ownership. The engine was bored .020″-over and is equipped with a high-torque gear-reduction starter, an Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold, an Edelbrock 500cfm four-barrel carburetor, and a Ford Motorsport open-element air cleaner.
Exhaust gases exit by way of stainless-steel shorty headers and dual Magnaflow mufflers. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
