Originally Meadowlark Yellow with a black vinyl roof, the body was reportedly refinished in Chrysler Radiant Fire in 2004 following the installation of a replacement roof panel sourced from a 1967 model. Replacement chrome bumpers and emblems were installed, and GT-style fog lamps are fitted to the grille. Pitting is noted on the bumpers, and the seller notes a section of missing paint on the right-front headlight bucket, bubbling on the lower front corner of the driver’s door, a paint chip on the passenger door, and chips near the windshield wipers.
The 14″ wheels wear chrome beauty rings and hubcaps and are wrapped in Hankook Optimo thin-whitewall tires said to have been mounted in 2020. The front brakes were converted to discs in 2010 according to the seller. Blemishes are visible on the wheels.
Interior refurbishment work in 2004 reportedly included reupholstering the seats and headliner as well as replacing the carpets in the cabin and the trunk. An aftermarket Sony CD stereo is fitted, and wear is visible on the dashboard. The fan motor, air distribution box, vent control cables, and defroster ducting were replaced in 2021 according to the seller.
The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a 120-mph speedometer, an ammeter, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles.
The 289ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt in the early 1990s, and reported work completed since 2020 has included a rebuild of the two-barrel carburetor and replacement of the fuse box, valve cover gaskets, and voltage regulator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
