This 1931 Ford Victoria is a refurbished and modified example that was acquired by the current owner in 2002 and is powered by a 430ci V8 sourced from a 1967 Buick paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in black and burgundy over tan and features widened fenders, a custom front and rear suspension, four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, Volvo seats, Vintage Air air conditioning, 15″ wire wheels, a modified Ford 9″ positraction 3.00:1 rear axle, a custom radiator with an electric fan, TA Performance stage 2 aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Carburetor, an electronic ignition, custom headers, and a dual stainless steel exhaust.
The steel bodywork is finished in a two-tone black and burgundy with a black vinyl roof. Features include a 1932 Ford grille, 1932 Ford fuel tank conversion, widened fenders, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, Ford Twolite headlamps, cowl-mounted turn signals, and dual taillights.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels feature V8 script covers and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 215/60 up front and 255/70 out back. The car features a polished Total Cost Involved independent front suspension with coilovers and a manual Flaming River Straight Arrow steering rack as well as a polished 4-link rear suspension with coilovers. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features custom power front seats from a Volvo wearing tan “mohair” upholstery with matching door panels and carpet. Interior equipment includes machined gas and brake pedals as well as a custom floor-mounted shifter bezel, aftermarket speakers, a Pioneer Bluetooth CD stereo, and a stainless-finished steering column.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a custom dash panel housing a set of Speedhut gauges with a 180-km/h GPS speedometer flanked with gauges for fuel level, voltage, water temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 4k kilometers (~2k miles).
The modified 430ci V8 was reportedly sourced from a 1967 Buick and is equipped with TA Performance stage 2 aluminum heads, electronic ignition, Taylor plug wires, an Edelbrock Carburetor, custom headers, a dual stainless steel exhaust, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a narrowed Ford 9″ rear axle with a 3.00:1 gear ratio.
